A total of 81 Bloomsburg University student-athletes have been recognized by the Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) with Academic Achievement Awards for the 2019-20 academic year. The 81 recipients were 20 more than last year's total of 61 and were just one shy of the school-record 82 student-athletes that earned the honor during the 2016-17 academic year. To be eligible a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, the athletics director of the Division II institution must be a current dues-paying member of the DII ADA. The student-athlete must also have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years of college level work, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.

A school-record total of 208 Bloomsburg University student-athletes have been recognized as Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes for the 2019-20 academic year. The 208 Huskies join a PSAC-record 3,762 student-athletes from the league's 18 institutions being named to the list. The 3,762 scholar-athlete total marks 50% of the student-athlete population across the conference. Both of those numbers shatter previous records of 3,117 and 43%, respectively, set one year ago. The league has now registered at least a 30% rate for 12 straight years. The total number of honorees has increased each year since the 2006-07 academic year. Bloomsburg's 208 student-athletes easily surpasses the school's previous high of 164 established last academic year and was tied for seventh-highest among the 18 league institutions. In order to earn PSAC Scholar-Athlete recognition, each student-athlete must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.25 throughout the year. Congratulations to the Class of 2020! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Muhlenberg College 2020 Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies have been rescheduled for October 17 and 18. However, to commemorate this important milestone, the College hosted a Virtual Senior Week which culminated May 17 with the Conferral of Degrees by President Kathleen Harring. During the presentation, 518 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

A total of 1,802 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2020 semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Nearly 1,300 Kutztown University students have been approved to receive their diplomas following the conclusion of the 2020 spring semester this Friday. While KU will not hold its traditional spring commencement, originally scheduled for May 8-9, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a formal on-campus commencement ceremony will be held at a later date. Nearly 1,100 students are slated to receive their bachelor's degrees, while 177 students will receive their graduate degrees, including 11 doctorate degrees. The university is celebrating its spring graduates with various activities online on its commencement coverage webpage.

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) recognized 362 students who were scheduled to be recognized at this year's Annual Honors Convocation, which was not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bloomsburg University honored 147 student-athletes as 2019-20 Bloomsburg University Scholar-Athletes. A luncheon honoring their achievements was held Wednesday, Mar. 4, in the Kehr Union ballroom on campus. The student-athletes honored achieved a grade point average of 3.25 or higher over the past two semesters and/or have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher and were at least a sophomore academically. In addition to the 147 student-athletes, 45 freshman or transfer students were also honored for achieving a 3.25 GPA in their first semester on campus.

85 Kutztown University students have been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) as part of the December 2019 class. To be inducted at KU, students must attend an orientation, a three-hour leadership training seminar, three success networking team meetings and three speaker broadcasts featuring leading figures delivering success-related messages to members.
